Introducing - Paul Warwick

A former Australia U21 & Sevens international, Paul Warwick joined Connacht from the Manly club in 2004 on a one year contract. A 97 point return in the Challenge Cup campaign in his first season led to a two year extension at the end of which he joined Munster.

In 19 appearances for Connacht in the Challenge Cup he scored 157 points and on his Magners League debut for Munster, Warwick was responsible for 21 of his side's 26 points in their win over Llanelli Scarlets in Musgrave Park. Next time out at Rodney Parade, his 16 point haul helped Munster back from a 16 point deficit to win 26-16 and tomorrow he partners Peter Stringer when Munster take on Glasgow Warriors.

Where and when did you first play rugby: At school in Australia aged 12.

Biggest influence on career: My father Bruce.

Best career advice you were given: What you put in, you will get out.

What you like most/least about being a rugby player: Keeping fit and healthy/ Fitness sessions.

Other sports that you played:  Rugby League, Swimming.

Best rugby memory: Winning IRB 7s Tournament in Wellington.

Rugby player you admire most: Jonah Lomu.

Rugby team you admire most: Australia.

Sporting event you would most like to attend: UFC Title Fight.

Plans for life after rugby and what provision have you made: Study Radiology

Advice you would give to aspiring pro rugby player: Work Hard and Enjoy It.

Three people you would invite to dinner and why: My Fiancé Carol and my two best mates from Australia, because I don't see my mates as much as I would like and be I'd guaranteed a good night
