Bradley Makes Three Changes

Munster flew into the Scottish capital late last night, arriving at their hotel shortly after 9.30pm ahead of the clash this evening with the Michael Bradley coached Edinburgh Rugby.
Bradley's side started off their RaboDirect PRO12 campaign beaten at home by Cardiff Blues and away by Ospreys before arresting the slide with a win at tonight's venue against his former side Connacht. Last weekend they lost on the road in Italy (Aironi) and Bradley is conscious of Munster's strengths and what his side need to do if they're to get back on a winning track. "Munster are, amongst other things, very competitive at the breakdown. We have to be conscious of their strong kicking game and of the positional pressure points they'll try to squeeze." he said at Wednesday's press conference.

"We need to be consistent in our delivery, accurate in our play (in attack and defence) and maintain absolute concentration for the full 80 minutes; if we do that we'll create opportunities and we'll score. If we don't, Munster will punish us."

In order to counter the threat he believes Munster pose, Bradley has made three personnel changes. One to his backline where Matt Scott comes into the centre which means Jim Thompson moves to his preferred position of full-back with Tom Brown slippinng to the bench.

Up front Lewis Niven (prop) and Grant Gilchrist (lock) come back to start in the tight-five in place of Shaun Knight and Steven Turnbull, who loses out to Esteban Lozada.

Edinburgh Rugby: Jim Thompson; Lee Jones, Matt Scott, James King, Tim Visser; Gregor Hunter, Greig Laidlaw; Kyle Traynor. Steven Lawrie, Lewis Niven; Grant Gilchrist, Sean Cox; David Denton, Roddy Grant, Stuart McInally. Replacements: Alun Walker, Robin Hislop, Shaun Knight, Esteban Lozada, Hamish Watson, Chris Leck, Phil Godman, Tom Brown.
