Wayne Barnes (Eng) will referee Munster's Heineken Cup semi-final against Toulon at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday April 27th.
Teams from Munster Rugby and Timberland will put their levels of endurance to the test by attempting to undertake the 13.1 mile trail run which follows the final stage of the Kerry Way. The spectacular hiking route meanders around the Iveragh Peninsula from Kenmare finishing in Killarney national park.
Munster Rugby will be undertaking fundraising activities in the lead up to the challenge on August 26th while Timberland have agreed to augment fundraising targets for the challenge through shopping events in Timberland stores in Cork, Limerick, Dublin (Dundrum, Liffey Valley and South Anne Street) and Belfast on August 24th/25th when a percentage from daily turnover will be donated to CARI.
CARI was set up in 1989 to provide therapy for children and adolescents affected by the issue of sexual abuse and support for non abusing family members/careers. CARI provide child centred therapy for children and adolescents who have been affected by sexual abuse. CARI also provide therapy to children up to and including 12 years olds who present with sexualised behaviour. CARI only receive limited government funding and so rely on fundraising to provide the essential services. The helpline is 1890 924567.
