On day two the students were tutored on the key factors for the individual skills required for rugby. This incorporated a practical session with teams of three running a 20min session relating to one of these skills.
The participating students will continue with the practical element of the course and oversee weekly lunchtime skills sessions for the school's first year students under the supervision of Rugby Development Officers Andy Brace and Noel O'Meara.
Practical modules will run over the course of a one month period and the young coaches will continue with their planning and managing coaching sessions under the supervision of the school's Gamesmaster and Transition Year teachers.
Munster Rugby would like to thank the participating students for their enthusiasm throughout the course and wish them every success in their coaching pathway.
