Felix Jones who was replaced after 58 minutes picked up a slight ankle sprain and has been ruled out of selection for Friday's game. Jones' replacement Denis Hurley sustained an injury himself 10 minutes later and will undergo a scan on his left knee to identify possible medial ligament damage.
Donnacha Ryan who came off after 70 minutes with a knock to his knee will also undergo a scan and meet with a specialist before his prognosis is confirmed.
Niall Ronan (sprained ankle) who was ruled out the morning of the Gloucester game after failing to pass a fitness test will continue to be monitored as the week progresses.
Gerry Hurley will meet with the specialist tomorrow for an update on his finger injury that he sustained while training at the start of October, and will continue with his rehabilitation process.
There was positive news for Luke O'Dea (wrist) at the weekend as he saw 30 minutes of game-time for the first time since March, lining out with his club side Shannon FC against Dolphin in the ODM Munster Senior Cup. While Ian Nagle (foot) is progressing well but is still out of consideration for the next few weeks.
Tommy O'Donnell (knee), Paddy Butler (thumb) and Simon Zebo (foot) all continue with their rehabilitation programme.
