Ian Costello's Munster side took control of the British & Irish Cup Pool 7 with a 36-21 win in Rotherham on Saturday and now head for Musgrave Park (Friday 6.30) for the return game where a victory would put them in pole position to qualify for the knock out phase.
Costello's side ended the game with 13 players on the field after both Philip Donnellan and Ian Nagle were yellow carded but more significantly, with Friday's game in mind, they also ended with Shane Buckley injured (ankle) and ruled out of a return that Costello refuses to be complacement about.

"I was happy enough with our performance but I think we saw enough from them to know that we cannot take anything for granted in the return leg." he said.

Munster were just a point ahead at half time but then took full advantage of some sloppy defence to score three tries that effectively sealed the outcome.

British & Irish Cup Round 4 Munster v Rotherham Titans Musgrave Park Friday 14th December 6.30pm.
