With the latest signings announced earlier today Academy Manager Peter Malone gives his thoughts on the newest members to join the Munster Rugby Academy.

A former captain of South Africa Schools and U20s, Stander will join Munster on a two year contract - subject to being granted a work permit and passing the requisite fitness test - once his commitment to the Bulls in the Super 15 and Currie Cup has ended,
The South African will be vying for a place in the starting side with Barry O'Mahony the former Dolphin now Clontarf flanker who has been given a Development contract. O'Mahony played in both Ireland Club internationals last season and scored a crucial try in the British & Irish Cup semi-final victory over Leinster
It was also confirmed that Paul McCarthy has extended his contract as Scrum Coach, news that means Munster have now also completed their coaching team for the coming season.
