Ei Electronics, Shannon, Ireland’s leading indigenous electronics company, has signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with Munster Rugby.
The Ei Electronics logo will feature on the right-sleeve of all Munster jerseys, for both the Senior Men’s and Women’s squad, between now and the 2030/31 seasons.
Announcing the new sponsorship, Mick Guinee, Founder and Chairman of Ei Electronics, said:
“For several years we have been seeking the right opportunity to sponsor our provincial team and now I believe we have found it.
“As an Irish company based in Shannon but drawing employees from Clare, Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford, we believe it is only appropriate for Ei to support Munster Rugby.”
Ei Electronics is a world leader in Home Life Safety and is best known as the manufacturer of smoke alarms, with more than 100 million alarms ‘keeping families safe and well in their homes across the globe’. Established in 1988, the company employs 1100 people in Shannon and another 250 in overseas subsidiaries.
Dave Kavanagh, Head of Commercial & Marketing with Munster Rugby said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with such a successful Irish company like Ei Electronics. We are looking forward to bringing the Ei Electronics brand to European audiences through the Ei logo on the sleeve of all our jerseys for both the senior men’s and women’s squads.”
