Munster were delighted to host mixed ability side, Clonakilty Tigers, at Friday night's pre-season clash with Leicester Tigers.
For many of the team this was their first time attending a Munster game.
We spoke with head coach, Con McSweeney, before the game to learn more about the team and the excitement for their outing.
Speaking about the team, Con said:
"Clonakilty Tigers was set up two years ago. They are a mixed ability team so it is kids of all abilities playing, you don't have to a disability, and it is to help break down the barrier of 'if you have a disability you can't play sport with anyone'.
"We have a mixture of siblings playing, kids with disabilities, some without disabilities who may not feel comfortable playing contact, and just in general it is a great little community."
The excitement was palpable amongst the group, continuing McSweeney said:
"We are delighted to be here today, it would be a lot of our kids first time ever being at a Munster match, so there is great excitement."
