- Hollywoodbets Sharks have doubled their tally of victories this campaign with their 28-24 win at home to Glasgow on Saturday.
- Sharks’ only victory over an Irish province in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship since April 2022 was 22-12 over Ulster in Durban in March.
- Munster’s only victory in the last four rounds of the BKT URC was 23-0 against Ospreys in Cork in Round 3.
- The two sides have met three times before in the URC, Munster winning two plus a 22-all draw on their only previous visit to Durban in April 2023.
