The post-season break has begun for the majority of the Munster squad with eight players in Ireland camp and a number of players continuing to rehab.

Tadhg Beirne, Joey Carbery, Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes, Keith Earls, Jeremy Loughman, Conor Murray and Peter O’Mahony will all depart for New Zealand with the Ireland squad in the coming days.

On the injury front, Thomas Ahern is being managed with the medical department for a thigh injury.

Diarmuid Barron will not require surgery on his elbow injury and will rehab with the medical department.

Liam Coombes (toe) will undergo rehabilitation with the medical department.

Andrew Conway and Chris Farrell were both ruled out of Ireland’s tour to New Zealand due to injuries.

Conway underwent a minor procedure on his knee and will begin a period of rehabilitation with the medical department.

Chris Farrell will undergo a scan on a hip complaint.

Continuing to rehab: Dave Kilcoyne (neck), RG Snyman (knee) John Hodnett (knee), Jack Daly (knee).
