O’Connell Citing Hearing On Thursday

Paul O’Connell will travel to Dublin on Thursday to face an ERC Disciplinary Committee as a result of the red card he received on Sunday in the game against Ospreys.

O'Connell received the red card, his first, contrary to what one newspaper reported today, in an exemplary career, for catching Ospreys number 8 Jonathan Thomas with a swinging arm, as Thomas grabbed O'Connell, trying to prevent the Munster captain rejoining the fray.
