New Munster Rugby Store For Cork

The new Cork store is “bigger and better” and is now open for business.

The Munster Rugby Store officially opened its doors to the new No 8, Maylor Street premises in Cork today.

The official opening was a huge success and among the first to try out the new store included current Munster squad members Jerry Flannery, Peter Stringer, Lifeimi Mafi, Denis Leamy and Denis Fogarty.

Increased demands for all things Munster encouraged the province to open a larger, more customer friendly store.

Commenting on the opening of the new store Denis Hurley, Munster Rugby Store Retail Manager stated “Since opening the original store in November 2006, the people of Cork have been extremely supportive of us. As the Munster Rugby brand has grown, this has had obvious positive effects for us and our business. With this in mind we took the decision to expand, thus we’ve opened this newly re-vamped shop to satisfy the demands of the Cork supporters.”

“We are expanding our accessory range, but also bringing added comfort and ease of shopping to our customers. We have been delighted with the support over the past numbers of years and we feel it’s time to give something back to our supporters.”

To celebrate the opening the store Management would like to offer Customers a 10% discount for the first 48 hours of trading on Friday and Saturday, 19th and 20th of March (This Discount does NOT apply to items already reduced).
