Starting out with Young Munster, while attending Crescent College Comprehensive, Nash was a member of the Munster U18 Schools side that had Interprovincial success in 2014/15.

On the international front he represented Ireland U18 Schools and U19s before enjoying further interprovincial success as part of the 2015/16 Munster U20 side.
 
Made his B&I Cup debut away to Rotherham Titans in December 2016 and made a further three appearances in Munster A's title-winning campaign.

Made his PRO14 debut when he started on the wing away to Edinburgh in February 2017 and won his first Ireland U20 cap against Italy the following month, going on to captain the side against France, Wales and England.

Was one of the standout performers for Ireland at the World Rugby U20 Championship in Georgia, scoring tries against Italy (brace) and Samoa.

Registered in Munster's Champions Cup squad in December 2017, the Limerick man scored two tries in seven appearances in the 2017/18 season.

Advanced to a development contract ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Suffered an ankle injury while playing for Munster A in the Celtic Cup early in the 2018/19 campaign.

Signed a two-year contract extension in December 2018, committing to the province until at least June 2021.

Calvin made his Champions Cup debut against Ospreys in January 2020 and made 10 appearances over the course of 2019/20.

Made a further eight appearances in 2020/21 (seven starts) and signed a two-year contract extension in February 2021.

Made eight starts in the 2021/22 season and was selected on the Emerging Ireland tour to South Africa at the start of the 2022/23 campaign.

Enjoyed his best season for Munster in 2022/23 scoring seven tries in 17 starts as Munster won the URC title.

He made his 50th appearance against Sharks in April '23 and was included in the Ireland training squad ahead of the 2023 World Cup.

Made his Ireland debut against Italy in August 2023 and started all five games of the 2024 6 Nations and both games of that year's summer tour to South Africa.

Scored six tries in 18 Munster starts in the 2023/24 season but missed the URC play-offs due to injury.

Scored four tries in 11 starts in the first half of the 2024/25 camapign and was included in Ireland's Autumn Nations Series and 6 Nations squads.
