Munster's only defeat in their last six Championship home games was 26-38 to Glasgow on 25 March. Munster are unbeaten in their last six encounters with South African opponents in the URC since the Lions beat them in Johannesburg in March 2022. DHL Stormers began their 2023/24 United Rugby Championship with a pair of victories but have been defeated in Rounds 3 and 4. The Stormers have never lost three successive United Rugby Championship matches. Munster have won all three previous fixtures they have played against the Stormers including last season’s Final in Cape Town.
