Did you know?

Preview

After two solid bonus-point wins to start the season at Thomond Park, Munster face their biggest test of the season away to Dwayne Peel’s Scarlets on Sunday afternoon.

The Welsh outfit enjoyed a good win at home to the Lions last week and are set to welcome three of their own Lions back this week in captain Ken Owens, Wyn Jones and Gareth Davies.

A good opening day performance away to Edinburgh ended in a narrow 26-22 loss but the Scarlets, roared on by a big home crowd, were 36-13 victors over Lions at Parc y Scarlets last week.

Young out-half Sam Costelow kicked 16 points in Peel’s first home game as Head Coach with the powerful Sione Kalamafoni named Player of the Match.
