Tony Buckley

From Newmarket in Co Cork he was educated first in Boher Bui Comprehensive and then Newbridge College in Co Kildare where he played lock on the Senior side for two Cup campaigns reaching the Leinster Senior Cup semi final in 1999.
He represented Leinster Schools, has won AIB League medals with Shannon and made his International debut on Ireland's summer 2007 tour to Argentina. This summer he gained further senior caps in the games against Canada & USA and he was a member of the successful Ireland A Churchill Cup winning side. He lives in Limerick
