A product of the Munster under-age development system, the 25 year old has represented Ireland at Schools/U19 & U21 levels.
He made his first appearance in a Munster shirt at senior level as an Academy player in the Magners League game against Border Reivers in Thomond Park September 2006.
Went on to a development contract and moved up to a full contract in summer 2009.
