Corey joined the Munster Rugby Academy from the Bedford Blues and plays his club rugby with Garryowen.

He has lined out for the Munster U20s and was part of the Ireland U20s development squad during the 2010 season. 

Hircock is a member of Munster's 2012 winning B&I Cup squad.
