Ireland's most capped scrum-half also capped five times at Ireland U21 level.

Has played in three Heineken finals scoring the crucial try in the 2006 win over Biarritz Olympique and was on the bench for the 2008 final.

Mid way through the 2011/12 season he accepted short term contracts first with Saracens and then Newcastle Falcons where he ended that season.

Just one of nine players to have earned 200+ caps for Munster. He made his debut against Ulster and won his 100 and 200th caps against the northern side.
