A former Colaiste Chriost Ri student Holland is a product of the Munster youths system and plays his club rugby with Cork Con.

He made his British and Irish Cup debut coming on as a replacement in Munster's away win to Neath in November 2011.

Made his senior debut against La Rochelle in the opening pre-season games.
