The second row Currow native is nephew of Munster great Mick Galwey.  

He featured in three of the Ireland U20s 6 Nations games, starting against Italy and coming on against England and France before joining the U20s in France for the JWC where he featured in four of the games.

He captained his school side Rockwell to a Munster Schools Senior Cup title in 2012 and a few weeks later went on to play for Ireland U19s with Ryan Murphy against France and England.

Sean represented the Munster U20s in the Interprovincial series in September 2012 and makes the move from sub academy to academy for season 2013/14.

Other representations include playing basketball for Ireland U16s and minor football with Kerry in 2011. 

Represented the Munster senior team in a pre-season friendly away to Gloucester in August 2014.
