North picked up a bruised hip that morphed into a dead leg in the course of Wales' game against Australia while Davies missed that match with a groin injury.

George has got a dead leg which we are monitoring on an hourly basis really, Nigel Davies, the Scarlets coach told Western Mail journalist Andy Howell.  It was very sore when he came in on Monday and I'll admit we were worried. But there was a huge improvement on Tuesday and, if it continues, he will be ready.
 
With Jonathan we're very mindful of his groin injury. You have to manage those type of injuries very carefully otherwise they can turn into something more sinister.

Meanwhile it was gym sessions for Munster players yesterday, they complete their preparations with a squad session in Limerick today before flying to Cardiff on Friday morning.

Yesterday in UL, prop BJ Botha outlined what he's expecting from Scarlets."Obviously, I'm expecting a massive encounter."

"From a front-row's perspective they've shown what they can do as they proved against Northampton. It's the Heineken Cup now so you can't look at any other games, You can't look at our past game that we played against them in Cork."

"As I said, I think it'll be a massive encounter up-front for us. Line-out and scrum and maul. They've been building a  set-up there that they're comfortable with as they've shown with their results. I think from 1-15 they're a very dangerous outfit. Can score tries when they want to and I think we're really going to have to be on the money on the day."
