David Wallace has been called to the Irish side to face Scotland on Saturday, and is replaced on the Munster side by Colm McMahon who is coming back from 6 weeks of injury to replace the Garryowen player.
In the backs Shaun Payne is named at 15 in place of Christian Cullen who according to Alan Gaffney "Has a very minor back strain, nothing too serious, and is omnitted purely as a precautionary measure."
Martin Mcpahil is named at outside center, a position he is more than familiar with having played at U21 level for Ireland.
This weekend's game is the second last match before Munster take on Stade Francais in the Quarter Final of the Heineken Cup on April 10th, and the good news from a Munster point of view is Christian Cullen will be back in consideration next week as will Anthony Horgan and Mike Mullins who according to Gaffney, both need another week before they can be considered.
With the Heineken Cup game in mind Alan Gaffney will be hoping that all players come through the celtic league and international games at the weekend without any issues.
As news from the international camp is the Munster front row is in a little bother, with Marcus Horan suffering from a shoulder injury while training, John Hayes has a back strain and Frankie Sheanhan is troubled with a calf injury.
