The process took just four hours (6pm-10pm) Abtran had a staff of 20 working and they processed 1400 requests for tickets.
Because of time constraints Munster Branch felt that this process was the most fair and equitable manner of distributing tickets.
A spokesperson for Munster Branch said, "We are fully aware that a lot of people will have been frustrated in their efforts to purchase tickets for the Munster v Bourgoin game. We believe that the process used was the best available to us given the circumstances."
"We do appreciate the efforts people make to support the Munster game and regret the disappointment that those who were unable to purchase tickets will be feeling."
