A Munster Under 17 combined selection of players from the Regional Development Squad and Munster 'B' Schools recently attended a 11 a-side blitz at Cork Institute of Technology grounds.

After half time a harder working SMI back row and good variations from the out half, James Genia kept putting their team on the front foot.
With scores coming at a regular interval, SMI were soon in a winning position and with the out half comfortably kicking penalties opportunities and an outstanding drop goal the spoils went to SMI.
West Munster Junior Place
The final of the West Munster Junior Plate was played between Mounthawk ,Tralee and Abbeyfeale Vocational School.
A game that the scores changed hands 7 times was a credit to both teams attacking styles.
Mounthawk finished out winners 28-19.
