Munster's fund raising efforts for Paul Darbyshire and Motor Neurone Research were given a marvellous kick off in Garryduff, Cork last night.
Ronan O'Gara and
Denis Fogarty were on hand to receive a cheque for €6,000 from
Paul Sheridan and the FBS Winter Conditioning Group in the week that Munster announced their plans for their
Cork-Limerick-Warrington Cycle Ride.
Accepting the cheque O'Gara, addressing the training group before they began that evening's session said he was, "overwhelmed and deeply appreciative of the this hugely generous gesture."
"People don't often put their money where their mouth is but that's not the case in this instance and we are deeply grateful on Darbs and his family's behalf for your extraordinary generosity."
