Munster trio Donncha O'Callaghan, Paul O'Connel and Mick O'Driscoll and Leinster's Malcolm O'Kelly will have to wait until Thursday before they know what part they'll play in Saturday's game against Scotland in the RBS Six Nations at Lansdowne Road.
Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan will wait on the results of a fitness test on O'Connel before deciding on his second row combination and who will be the back-up off the bench.
Other than that it's a question of as you were as O'Sullivan not urprisingly keeps faith with the personnel who disptched the Welsh last time out with ease.
Meanwhile, Scotland have recalled locks Scott Murray and Nathan Hines for the game on Saturday. The experienced Murray was sent off against Wales and missed the victory over England while Hines who came on as a 52nd minute replacement retains his place at the expense of Alastair Kellock.
