Last Friday, Munster fans were given their chance to show their support in the course of the Magners League game against Benetton Treviso with UNICEF Executive Director Melanie Verwoerd and Paul Connolly the Chairman of UNICEF Ireland in attendance to express their gratitude for Munster support.
What is â00Believe in Zeroâ0 about?
Every day, 22,000 children die from causes we can prevent like malaria, malnutrition and unsafe water. That even one child dies from a cause that we can prevent is completely unacceptable, and UNICEF and Munster Rugby believe that this number should be zero.
How to support the campaign:
Asking Munster Rugby fans to show their support over the next 2 weeks, UNICEF Ireland Ambassador Donncha O'Callaghan highlighted the difference one Euro can make.â0 UNICEF is asking you to donate just one Euro during the campaign. It might not sound like much, but that Euro can save a child's life. It could buy vaccines for a child or provide safe drinking water for fifty children for one day. How great is that?â0
