The threatening rain held off and Thomond Park was awash with Munster Supporters as they turned up in numbers to meet their heros in Thomond Park on Wednesday morning.
Munster Supporters were treated to an open squad training session yesterday in Limerick and more than three thousand people availed of the opportunity to get a first hand viewing of the players at work.

The day was a great success with the terraces filled with fans all around the stadium as they cheered on the players when they ran out to take part in the two hour session.  Fans were treated to player interviews when Media Manager Pat Geraghty interviewed Captain Paul O'Connell and Ronan O'Gara pitchside, and they thanked the fans for their ongoing support and best wishes.

Excitement levels rose when the players went around the stadium afterwards signing autographs and chatting with the supporters.
