Munster coach Declan Kidney will name his squad for the Heineken Cup clash with Newport-Gwent Dragons later today. The squad will train in Cork this evening and fly out from Cork Airport tomorrow afternoon.

The first names that supporters will look for will be John Kelly, Shaun Payne, Federico Pucciariello and David Wallace. Kelly Payne and Pucciariello missed the Ulster gamewhile Wallace was forced out of the action with a gashed thigh.

Newport-Gwent Dragons have named a 27 strong squad that includes Ceri Sweeney, Michael Owen, Kevin Morgan and Hal Luscombe although there is still doubt as to whether the latter pair will be fit for the joust with Munster.

Morgan damaged an ankle playing for Wales last month, and Luscombe has been out of action since mid-October after breaking a thumb. Both have been included in the squad but are, according to Welsh sources, struggling to make it, probably needing another week or two to be fully recovered.

The Dragons have flown Newport wing Gareth Chapman back from South Africa where he was with the Wales Sevens squad. He trained with the squad yesterday and is likely to play against Munster.

So too is Aled Thomas, the former Wales Under-21 outside half. He has played once for the Dragons this season when he was a last minute replacement against Leinster in Dublin in the Celtic League.Since then he has been playing for Newport, mainly at outside half but also recently at full back and it's in the number 15 shirt that he could feature against Munster on Saturday.

Dragons Squad: K Morgan, L Hinton, A Thomas, G Chapman, H Luscombe, S Tuipulotu, C Sweeney, J Bryant, R Fussell, B Breeze, C Warlow, G Cooper, G Baber, A Black, D Maddocks, S Jones, A Brown, R Thomas, G Robinson, I Gough, P Sidoli, L Charteris, A Hall, R Bryan, M Owen, J Forster, J Ringer.
