Attention switches from Celtic League to Heineken Cup fare next weekend with Munster set to travel to Newport in Wales where they will take on the The Dragons at Rodney Parade.

Resigned to being without Paul O'Connell, Frank Sheahan and Alan Quinlan, Munster will be hoping that the cut David Wallace received in the game against Ulster on Saturday, will have healed in time to allow him play.

It is also hoped that John Kelly and Shaun Payne will have recovered in time to be considered for The Dragons game but coach Declan Kidney must have been hugely pleased by the performance of Mossy Lawlor on his return to representative.

Lawlor came on as second half replacement for Jeremy Manning and immediately made an impression, starting the play that led to Munster's opening try.

For their part Dragons will be counting the cost of their involvement in the Powergen after they lost their leading try scorer, Gavin Wyatt, injured playing against Worcester at the weekend.

Wyatt dislocated an elbow and was stretchered from the field just before half time.He will be sidelined for something in the region of six to eight weeks.

Munster begin their preparation with an afternoon training session in Limerick tomorrow (Tuesday).
