Munster supporters will get an opportunity to see first hand their side's latest acquisition, Trevor Halstead, when England entertain the Barbarians in Twickenham on Saturday.

The South African, who is due to join Munster later this summer, has been named in a much changed Ba Ba's side for the second game of their tour.

Halstead will partner Thomas Castaignede in the centre in a backline laced with talent in the shape of Wendell Sailor, Bruce Reihana and Carlos Spencer.

After a dismal showing against Scotland last weekend at Pittodrie, coach Bob Dwyer has opted to omit all the players involved in that 38-7 defeat, bringing in some of the biggest names in the game in an attempt to 'put the record straight against England.'

Last time around there were a number of Irishmen involved including Frank Sheahan, Girvan Dempsey, David Humphreys, Gary Longwell and Eric Miller but for Saturday's match only Johnny O'Connor makes the starting grid.

Barbarians: Brent Russell (South Africa); Wendell Sailor (Australia), Thomas Castaignede (France), Trevor Halstead (South Africa), Bruce Reihana (New Zealand); Carlos Spencer (New Zealand), Mark Robinson (New Zealand); Tom Smith (Scotland), Mark Regan (England), Cobus Visagie (South Africa), Simon Shaw (England), Selborne Boome (South Africa), Corne Krige (South Africa), Sebastien Chabal (France), Johnny O'Connor (Ireland).
