Munster will kick-off this year's Heineken Cup when they step out against Sale Sharks in Edgeley Road, Stockport, on Friday October 21st, a game that has a 7.30 kick-off

Munster will kick-off this year's Heineken Cup when they step out against Sale Sharks in Edgeley Road, Stockport, on Friday October 21st, a game that has a 7.30 kick-off.

That game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and the Sky crew will be joined by RTE in Thomond Park the following weekend when Munster entertain Castres Olympique. That game against Munster's old rivals is schduled for a 5.15pm kick off on Saturday October 29th.

In Round 3, Munster face Newport-Gwent Dragons in Rodney Parade, on Saturday December 10th (ko-1pm).

Actual dates and kick-off times for Rounds 4,5 and 6 have not yet been finalised.
