A press release issued by 6 Nations Discipline Officer, Jon Davis read; The Six Nations Committee today confirmed that Italian No 3 Salvatore Perugini has been cited by independent Citing Commissioner Ken Pattinson (England) for an incident during the RBS 6 Nations Italy v France match at Stadio Flamino on Saturday, 19 March.

They also confirmed that a complaint had been received from the independent Citing Commissioner Paul Mauriac (France) against Irish No 5 Paul O'Connell for an incident during the RBS 6 Nations Wales v Ireland match at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, 19th March.

In accordance with IRB Regulation 17 a hearing will be held on Wednesday, 23 March, with the three-man Discipline Committee chaired by Lorne Crerar (Scotland).
