Munster lock Trevor Hogan has been brought into the national squad for the three day national camp this week as cover for Paul O'Connell who injured a hand in Munster's win over Llanelli

Munster lock Trevor Hogan has been brought into the national squad for the three day national camp this week as cover for Paul O'Connell who injured a hand in Munster's win over Llanelli Scarlets in Musgrave Park on Friday night.

O'Connell has joined his Irish team-mates at City West but will take no part in the field sessions as he awaits word on the seriousness of the hand injury.

The rest of the Munster squad continue their preparation for their next Celtic League challenge - against Connacht in Galway next Saturday - with a squad session in Cork today and Wednesday and in Limerick tomorrow.
