We Have To Think Of The Future.

I think that Munster and Ireland's current crop of superstars best year's are behind them and that we will struggle
to accomplish anything near the last few year's achievements again for a long time.

It would seem that the balance between grass-roots rugby and the elite professional game is increasing every year.

All the IRFU and MB seem to do with their budget is to spend it on expensive and sometimes very over-rated foreign players.

The Munster and Irish game in general is going to suffer long term because there is no talent coming through. Prime example of this is at tighthead - John Hayes is a very ordinary player who has gotten 51 caps because there is nobody there to challenge. The same can be said for nearly every position on the field.

The people in charge have got to get their heads out of their a**es and think of the long term future of the game in Munster and Ireland and stop thinking primarily of the present day.

We may be riding the crest of a wave in European club rugby and Six Nations but do we want to wait another fifty or sixty years to win a major championship
