Where exactly Munster will play Biarritz in the quarter final of the Heineken Cup has still not been finalised.
Where exactly Munster will play Biarritz in the quarter final of the Heineken Cup has still not been finalised.

The Munster Branch are awaiting word from the host club and the belief is that there will nothing definitive until next Tuesday.

Munster Branch have urged ERC and Biarritz to opt for a stadium that will accomodate the thousands of Munster supporters they expect to travel.

It is understood that Munster Branch have advised both parties that they expect in the region of 10,000 supporters to make the journey and the Branch are acutely aware that if the game is played at the 12,600 capacity Stade Aguilera, that thousands of their supporters will be disppointed.

Prior to the start of the competition this year Munster had advised that if they were to secure a home quarter final the game would be played in Lansdowne Road in order to facilitate those wishing to attend, fully recognising that the 13,000 Thomond Park would not suffice.
