The Munster Rugby Development Office was recently involved in the National Learning Network's Certification Day in Clonmel.
National Learning Networks Certification Day

This ceremony is a significant event held to honour the achievements of the students during the past year.  Certification Day is about rewarding people who, despite certain inabilities not disabilities, have set about re-designing their lives, opening opportunities for themselves, which would not have been possible in the past.  Through sheer determination, courage and willpower, they have overcome obstacles and finding themselves back into the community, knowing that the qualifications they have received while with the National Learning Network puts them on an equal footing with others when seeking employment.  Certificates were awarded in the following categories: ECDL, Microsoft Office Specialist and FETAC.

Marcus Horan presented this years recipient of the Roseville Community Award to David Flynn.  This is integral part of the day as students and staff at the National Learning Network Clonmel hold this award in very high regard.  It is awarded to the student that has made the greatest contribution to the Roseville Community in some way social, personal, recreational, or organisational during the past year.

Marcus was presented with a special piece of artwork created by local artist Anthony Lawless and also with a photograph of himself and Dr. Pat OCallaghan.  This was created by IT students at Roseville and generously framed locally by Clonmel Glass & Mirrors.
