Stringer pulled up in the course of the session after sustaining a leg injury and this evening is rated a doubtful starter for the sell-out game at Lansdowne Road.

He travelled to Dublin with the rest of the squad yesterday morning, the player receiving a rapturous welcome from a large cotingent of Munster Supporter Club members.

Stringer was not in attendance when the squad went to Lansdowne Road today for the Captains Run and coach Declan Kidney said it was a matter of wait and see with regard to his availability.

Mike Prendergast and Frank Murphy are included in the Munster squad.
