Anthony Foley has been named as Munster Captain for the 2004/05 season. Foley who is the most capped player of the Heineken Cup takes over the captaincy from Jim Williams.

Ronan O'Gara and Frankie Sheehan have been named vice captains and Jim Williams may captain Munster for most of the Celtic League campaign.
