The big game in the Junior League is the meeting of Clanwilliam and Kilfeacle at Clanwilliam Park. Nenagh Ormond one of the favourites for the title face Clonmel. Last season's runners up Crosshaven begin with a home tie against Thurles and St. Senan's play their very first game at the top level at Ballycasey, when Cobh Pirates are the visitors. Bruff reckoned to be one of the sides to be also challenging for honours, have a free weekend and they play the U.C.C. first XV at Kilballyowen Park on Saturday in a friendly.

The meeting of Muskerry and Old Christians in Division Two is the top game in this Division. Another thrilling contest is in store , after some exciting games last season between the sides. Cashel meet Presentation at Spafield and both these sides should be in the hunt for promotion from the Third Division at the end of the season.
