It is the first game at home since the end of December when Munster played Connacht and it is also the third last home game of the season  and the  final home game before Munster set off for the Heineken Cup quarter final joust with Gloucester.

The Munster squad conducted a full squad session yesterday at the Sports Bowl in UL and there will be one more session before Saturday's game.

All the internationals were present with the exception of Denis Leamy who is rehabbing his injured shoulder and not expected to feature in the Munster squad when it is named on Thursday.
