Alan Gaffney who spent three years as Munster coach, is tonight (Sunday) celebrating his Saracens progression to the semi-final of the Challenge Cup following their 23-19 victory over Glasgow Warriors.
They did have to survive a spirited fightback from the Glasgow Warriors but held their nerve and will now face Bath in the semi final at Vicarage Road in three weeks time.

Saracens were 23-9 in front and one can only imagine what Gaffney had to say after Glasgow were allowed claw their way back although Glasgow's last try came too late to affect the outcome.

Besides now being able to look forward to a European semi-final date Gaffney has also guided his side to thrid place in the Premiership and a possible play-off place.
