Shannon completed their Ulster Bank League Division 1B program with a 34-26 away win over already relegated Dungannon to finish in fifth place in the table. John Shine scored two tries for the winners and Niall Horan, Shaun Horgan and Dave Evans one each. Tadhg Bennett converted four of the tries.
Tralee booked their place in the Munster Junior Plate where they will face either Shannon or St. Mary's in the final after their 39-18 away win over Presentation. Fearghal O'Nuallain, James O'Neill, Eoin Murphy, Eoin O'Carroll and Bryan O'Sullivan scored tries for Tralee and Garret Walsh kicked four conversions and two penalties.
Bandon and St. Senan's will contest the Munster Junior Clubs Shield Final after a last minute penalty from Jack Murphy earned the West Cork side a 30-29 home victory over Clanwilliam. Gearoid Crowley scored two tries for Bandon and Christian Mulcahy one. Richard Walsh converted all three tries and kicked two penalties. Gavin Ryan and John Richardson replied with tries for the Tipperary side and Brian Kissane converted both and added five penalties.
Ballincollig and Douglas will contest the Martin O'Sullivan Cup Final. Ballincollig travelled to Dungarvan and defeated the home side 18-13. Andrew Carey and Matt Rabbilo scored tries for Dungarvan and David Hickey kicked a penalty.
Douglas defeated Carrick-on-Suir 27-22 in the other semi final. Niall O'Connell, Alan Drumm and Dave Murphy were try scorers for Douglas and Eoin Philpott converted all three and added two penalties. Ross Clery scored three tries for Carrick' and Charlie Boland kicked two conversions and a penalty.
Highfield beat Cork Constitution 38-29 to reach the final of the Munster Seconds League. Dave Norris, Conor Forde, Tommy Upton, Mark O'Driscoll, John Purcell and Fintan O'Sullivan were Highfield's try scorers and Colm Downes kicked four conversions.
Kanturk booked their place in the Cork County Cup final where they will face Clonakilty in the decider following their exciting mid week victory over Old Christians 31-21. Mark Healy and John O'Sullivan each scored two tries for the Duhallow side and Conor O'Sullivan got one. Healy converted three of the tries. Aidan Ware, Alan O'Connell and Stewart Lee replied with tries for the Rathcooney side and Lee converted all three.
Highfield defeated Clonmel 20-10 to win the Junior Two Cup South Final at Musgrave Park. Paul Moriarty and Mark Spillett were the winners try scorers and Dave Eustace kicked two conversions and two penalties to lead 20-0 at half time. Dylan Cadogan opened Clonmel's account with a penalty ten minutes into the second half and he converted a try by Billy O'Kelly late in the game.
Cork Constitution regained the Dennehy Cup with a 12-0 win over Mallow at Woodleigh Park. Cormac O'Doherty and Simon Barry scored tries for Con' and Barry kicked a conversion.
Kanturk won the Dave Dineen Cup Final at Musgrave Park on Thursday night last when they defeated Muskerry 10-5. A try from George O'Mahony gave Muskerry a 5-0 interval lead. Playing with the wind in the second half Dinny O'Sullivan had Kanturk level mid way through the half and with the game in injury time Dan O'Callaghan got in at the corner for a try for Kanturk.
Charleville defeated U.C.C. 25-5 in the final of the Tait Cup. Mattie O'Neill scored two tries for Charleville and Daniel O'Dwyer one with Shane Corkery adding two conversions and two penalties.
Dunmanway-Bantry Bay booked their place in the final of the McCarthy Cup with a 22-8 away win over Charleville. Damien Hicks, John White and Colin Clancy scored tries for the west Cork outfit and Albert Greene kicked two conversions and a penalty. Dan Dwyer replied with a try for Charleville and Paudie Coughlan added a penalty.
