Illness forced Dowling to withdraw from the Munster bench on the morning of the game against London Wasps but the Kilkenny man has shaken off that setback and took a full part in training today as did Hayes who left the field with a blood injury on Saturday last to be replaced by Tony Buckley.

It transpired that Hayes was also nursing a neck injury so did not return to the field, but that injury has cleared up and the Bruff clubman also took a full part in training this afternoon.

Munster complete their preparations for Sunday's game with a training run in Cork on Friday after which the side to play Clermont Auvergne will be announced.
