Introducing - Billy Holland

He won Junior and Senior Cup medals with Christian Brothers College Cork, represented Munster at Schools, U19 and U21 level and a fortnight ago made his Munster senior (competitive) debut against Llanelli Scarlets at Musgrave Park.
A week later he scored a try in Munster's 26-16 victory over Newport-Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade. Just turned 22 years of age, Billy Holland, a son of  former international and Munster team manager Jerry, has represented Ireland at Schools, U19, U21 and Universities level.

 

Favourite Food:    Italian. 
Book you are currently reading or have just finished:    Somewhere in Between.
Favourite TV programme:   Prison Break.
Favourite Film:    Blood Diamond.
Most enjoyable holiday location:   Ios (Greece).
Favourite sport other than rugby:    Soccer, Football, Golf.
The sport you least like:   Cricket.
Person alive or dead you would most like to meet:   Nelson Mandela.
Sportsperson you admire most:   Lance Armstrong.
Hobbies:  Cinema with the lads and girlfriend.
Where and when did you first play rugby:    Con U-8's. 
Biggest influence on career:   Family + Fred Casey.
Best career advice you were given:   Learn from your mistakes.
What you like Most/Least about being a rugby player:   Playing something you love/ Not being able to socialise like a normal student.
Other sports that you played:   Golf, Gaelic Football.     
Best rugby memory:   Winning first cap for Munster & winning Schools Senior Cup.  
Rugby Player you admire most:    Zinzan Brooke.
Rugby team you admire most:     Fiji
Sporting event you would most like to attend:  Mens 100m Final at Olympics.
Plans for life after rugby:  To be a Civil Engineer.
Advice you would give to aspiring pro rugby player:   Enjoy every minute of it, it won't last long.
Three people you would invite to dinner and why:   Roy Keane, Alf-Inge Halaand and Mick McCarthy for obvious reasons!
