The team has a match scheduled in San Sebastian this Saturday against the Euskarians club who are representatives of the Basque Country in Northern Spain near the French border. Coupled with a match next weekend against the British Police in Chester the Irish management will be using these matches as a formguide for selection in the upcoming Six Nations commencing in February.
