This is Munster's final preparation game before the start of the Heineken Cup when Munster head to France on December 6th to face Bourgoin.

As a precautionary measure ahead of next weeks Heineken Cup start Gaffney was forced to make a slight deviation from his plan, and did not include John Kelly (Achilles) and Anthony Horgan (hamstring).
