A well attended Annual General Meeting of the Munster Branch IRFU took place on June 5th, in University College Cork. Dr Len Harty was eleced President of the Munster Branch for the coming season.

The following Officers were elected for the coming Season:

President: Dr. Len Harty (UCC)

Senior Vice President: Niall O'Driscoll (Bandon RFC)

Junior Vice President: Ken Lyons (Old Crescent RFC)

Some info about Len Harty:

Dr. Len Harty has had a life long involement with Rugby as a player with U.C.C., Garryowen and Sundays Well , as coach with U.C.C., as President of U.C.C. and Irish and European Universities Rugby Union and as Team Doctor to the Senior Munster Team since 1992 to date. He has also been involved as an administrator with the Munster Branch serving both as Junior and Senior Vice President over the past 2 years.
